2 Years ago Buster crossed the Bridge

My Buster Bear crossed the Bridge two years ago today. He fought hard against his OS, but it had spread further that the Vet thought. Today, I took JR, Buster's Tug-O-War partner, to his favorite place in Lake Elsinore. Everyone came up to her and gave her pets and attention, just as they did with Buster. Some even called her Buster, which didn't make it any easier for me.

I would like to say sorry to all the RDN memebers who have had a Rottie cross the Bridge this year to join Buster. How it must be to see all that Blk/Tan romping and playing.

Buster is still with you...holding on to the piece of your heart that you share. He now watches over you as your "angel"...He's flying high on his special wings of gold...and I'm glad he met Sasha at the bridge and she doesn't have to go it alone...Fly high our sweet angels...

I got chills reading your post. You can tell how much Buster was loved and is missed. Unfortunately, there are many of us in your boat. RIP my Sammy 10-07-06 (also a victim of OS). OS is so prevelant in our beloved breed. I hope with all my heart that they are able to figure out why and make it stop.

I sang Boss across the bridge with the following song...(for those of you who may have some knowledge of gospel music, it is to the tune of "I don't know about tomorrow")...I still miss him every day. He left a lot of collar to fill.

So sorry for the loss of your Buster. I hope all those wonderful memories have helped you. You certainly are not alone in your pain - there are a lot of us unfortunately that have lost our best friends. Yep can you just see all of our black and tan angels romping around!
