Re: Coco is Gone

My mere words cannot ease your unrelenting pain, Karlan, but I too, want to convey my words of sorrow.

I only hope each passing day, you can, and will, remember all those wonderful experiences.

Godspeed, to you all.

Therese.

Re: Coco is Gone

Thank you Therese and Lorhel, very much.
Added to my list of prayers is that I get to be with her again one day.

Re: Coco is Gone

Dear Karlen, you are in my daily prayers. I know the passionate love you have for Coco and I know she feels it even now. Try to remember that Coco loves you to! --- She wants you to feel better. I wish I could help. Someday we will meet and have a good cry together and then perhaps a good laugh as we remember the antics of our little angels.

Karlen,

What a great tribute you wrote to Coco, your words express what a great and loving bond you shared.

I'm sorry your time together was so short, I'm praying for peace till the memories can bring you comfort.

Kathy

Re: Coco is Gone

Karlan:

My dear, sweet girl, Hope is now playing with Coco, and all the other wonderful Rottweilers, at the Rainbow Bridge.

I feel your pain. But now, dear Coco and Hope, and all the others have no pain.

Our spiritual bonds with our beloved pets will last our lifetimes.

Thinking of you, Coco, Hope and all the others.

Therese.

Re: Coco is Gone

Another story of another dog I have not met, that leaves me with goosebumps, and teary-eyed. What wonderful tributes people write here.

I am so very sorry for your loss. These wonderful canine friends of ours never, ever live long enough.

In trying to find a way to deal with my own loss, I had this thought...in the original Hebrew, the word translated for worship is the same word that translates for "licking the hand" (or something very, very close to that) -- in our lifetimes, few of us learn to worship with the freedom of spirit that these great beasts devote to us. I think we have them for such a short time because it is simply all the time THEY need to get it right. Will I ever have the dignity and grace, the forgiving heart and grateful spirit, the selfless love and patience of that grand old man of a dog of mine? I hope so. But, already, I have lived more than five times his life span and I haven't got there yet.

Re: Coco is Gone

I am so sorry for the loss of your Coco. Your post was a wonderful tribute she had to know how very much you loved her. What wonderful memories! So sorry you lost her right before the holidays - it is heart breaking - I know. Just wanted to let you know I am feeling your pain and you are not alone - and neither is Coco! Coco has Sheena and a whole lot of friends to play with at the Rainbow Bridge. Take care...
