Sad Morning A really sad thing happened this morning. I met a very pretty and sweet little boy stray someone dumped in our trailer park, he looked to have alot of pit bull in him. My neighbor was going to catch him and call AC today but she never got the chance. Someone intentionally ran over him and shattered his back end. Mandi called me frantic this morning wanting to know if my DH had a gun so we could make him quit hurting and suffering, which we have no guns in the house. I just called her and AC came out and picked him and another little female stray up. But he suffered to the end. RIP little white fellow go to the bridge and wait for me there. I'll take you accross when I get there. Sandi & Ralph

Re: Sad Morning Poor baby....it is shameful that such cruelity exists in the human heart. I will NEVER understand it. Rest in peace little guy, lots of kisses, hugs and pats on the head, from all of us, as we cross over will be coming your way at the Rainbow bridge.

Re: Sad Morning When I lived in MD, a stray tomcat that was living in the vacant house across the street started visiting me. I was feeding him and trying to locate a rescue to take him when he was hit and killed on the road. What I think makes the gray tabby cat and white pittie's deaths especially tragic is they were SO close to being safe....there were people who cared about what happened to them and it SHOULD have turned out differently. Perhaps their sad lives and sadder deaths could teach us a lesson...for myself, I better understand that when God places an animal in my path that needs help, he doesn't always give second chances...that I need to act at that moment. When a stray cat took up residence under my bush last summer, rather than wait, I brough her inside immediately and THEN worked to find her a home. The gray tabby still haunts me, as I'm sure your little white pit will haunt you. Thank you for trying to help.
