Sams Mom and Dad,
I feel your pain as I lost my Sasha two weeks ago, and I still hear her feet padding down the hallway! Her dog tag will forever hang on my key chain, next to Austa's, my first rottie angel.

It also helped me so much to deal with her loss when I discovered this forum and all the kind words of all the great people that read and respond to your post at the rainbow bridge.

The emptiness is impossible to explain to anybody...you have to experience it...everyone here knows...This forum was a lifeline for me...It was almost four weeks before I could really talk...The only words that would come out were on this forum...There was no one who I thought understood..until I landed here...
I am so sorry for your loss...I hope the intense pain in your heart will ease soon....my thoughts are with you and your husband...Rest in peace Samson..you are in the best of company.

I am so very sorry for your loss, so very very sorry. Most of us have lost several of our dear canine companions--we understand bruised and sad hearts.

I have the first dog license of all my Rotties on various key rings.

You loved him dearly and cared for him when he needed you most, thats what he will always remember when looking down on you both from the bridge.

It has been two weeks today since my Sammy's arrival at the Bridge. For the first 3 or 4 days I was glued to this site crying constantly. You all were my lifeline!!! What a wonderful bunch of people. Thanks to all.
The mornings are still tuff, he always had his big fat head in my face..."time to eat Mom" The smiles are beginning to come, but the saddness still lingers.
Who would have know such love existed....Sam taught me sooo much. I will always miss him...till we meet again. Sniff Sniff.
