RIP Tana

Well I just went through the sadest thing in my life.
Found my girl deep breathing in the garage. She wouldn't respond to anything, so I tried shouting at her. This woke her up long enough to lift her head. She was in a heavy drull and look like she had a stroke. I prepared the car with a blanket and tried to get her to get in under her own power but she wouldn't move. I then pet her head for ten seconds and she laid it down. Seconds latter her tounge came out and her bowels released. She was gone. I picked her up with all my strength as she gave her last grunt.
I drove her to the vets were they assured me she wasn't coming back.....

I should have her ashes by Thursday.
Oh my Tana......

Re: RIP Tana

I'm so sorry to hear about Tana... There are never words that can truly bring comfort, but I hope that the good memories of her will help drive out the pain.
Rest easy, Tana.

Re: RIP Tana

I am sorry for your loss. Seven years ago my little beagle had a stroke at age 17 and dropped dead at my feet. It was a quick, merciful death. He'll be at the Bridge to welcome your Tana.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in the fact that your loving, familiar face was the last thing she saw before she passed. Hold tight to the good memories of her...you two will be together again one day.

Re: RIP Tana

When I got home from the vet it was very sunny.
All of a sudden a huge downpour started with the sun getting
brighter! It was very magicical. She let me know she was safe on the
other side. And the massive rainbow after was so unreal! God Bless

Re: RIP Tana

She said goodbye in a very special way....which helps a little with the grief.

Take care of yourself...time does heal.

Re: RIP Tana

So sorry for the loss of your girl. It's kinda strange you mentioned the change in the weather when you put her down, when I let my boy go a week and a half ago it was cloudy and cool outside when I went to the vet, and after letting him go, I walked out the vet doors and the sun broke through as I walked out and it became a beautiful day outside, it was very calming. Once again very sorry for your loss.

Re: RIP Tana

She always loved to see the trains. If the Rainbow and sun shower wasn't enough she even stopped the car with a train right outside the vet parking lot. We had alot of love for each other.
Man I miss my girl.
