 Emily at the Bridge... A couple of good friends of ours lost their 12 year old Golden Retriever to cancer the night before last. Her name was Emily, and she was another 'Daddy's Girl'. She leaves behind her brother, Sisko, who will greatly miss his companion. Emily was a loving friend, preferring to cheer her brother on from the sidelines when we took Tara down to visit them and Tara and Sisko would play 'tug' in the living room. Emily would bark out her cheers to Sisko while laying under the dining room table. She was diagnosed with cancer about 5 months ago, and at the time was given 2 weeks to a month to live. True to her spirit, she had to prove her vet wrong; she hung on very lively and actively untill 3 days ago when she took a turn for the worse. Her daddy and mommy, Ken and Kathy, will miss their little girl, as will Tara when she goes for a visit.  This forum has been far too active the past couple of months. Here's to hoping it will slow down for a little while.  |

| Re: Emily at the Bridge... Troy...please extend my condolences to your friends. I am so sorry for the loss of sweet Emily. Time will help their hearts to hear...although time on earth is never enough. Godspeed Emily, fly on your wings of gold...you are an angel girl now.
