Re: Sebastian CGC TT

I am sorry to hear that Sebastian had to leave us at such a young age. But it sure sounds like you guys packed in a lot of living in that short time!!!

Run free at the bridge Sebastian!!!

Hang in there...it will get better... hugs

A good friend reminded me just the other day that life is not the number of breaths you take...but...the number that take your breath away. Sebastian was your heart dog for sure. I'm sure you miss him terribly and I'm sorry your time was far too short with him. He sures sounds like he was a great boy! Run and play at the bridge sweet boy and send mom a rainbow occasionally to make her smile on the trail.....Tina

I read the above post just yesterday afternoon. . .and later that evening I was on my way to meet some friends at my church. . .it was a cloudy, cold, rainy afternoon. . .but when I got to the church parking lot I looked and saw the "bottom" of the arch of a rainbow, just peaking over the trees. . .as the clouds moved, the rainbow grew until the complete arch was visible. . .one end to the other. . .and one of the brightest, most vivid rainbows I've ever seen. . .then another arch appeared. . .a DOUBLE rainbow. . .it was there for a long time. . .at least fifteen minutes. . .

It was exactly what I needed to see. . .it's been two weeks since Sebastian went to the Bridge, and it's getting even harder to come home to an empty house every evening. . .so seeing that rainbow last night was a reminder that my best buddy is happy and having lots of quality, pain-free "zoomie" time.

Re: Sebastian CGC TT

Audrey - I am sorry to hear of Sebastian's passing. I know how much you loved him! I recall reading the post when you went hiking to Hocking Hills, and Sebastian schmoozed a guy for a cheese fry! What a ham!
Keep those memories alive of when he made you laugh and made you proud.
He will be with you always; you gave him a wonderful life. And for that he will be eternally grateful.
Take care -
kathy

Re: Sebastian CGC TT

Your post was just beautiful. I cried, laughed and smiled as I read it. You captured the essence of the Rottie Human bond that I hope we were all fortunate enough to share with our friends.

I have read on this forum repeatedly that...."There's just something about a Rottie" and to that I say, Amen!

Please know that your sorrow is shared and may your sweet memories console you. RIP Sebastian.

hugs,
Janet

Re: Sebastian CGC TT

Sebastian had a great Mom and life. It is so hard to go on without them. May you find peace in your wonderful memories and know that you gave him a life many dogs only dream of.
