That'll do, Elsa....

Posting this for Becky Giddings (hcelsa here on the forums.) It is an honor for me to share my life with Elsa's grand-daughter, Blitz.

Becky wanted everyone to know, but has also said she's not ready to talk to anyone about this huge loss just yet.

Our beloved Elsa finished her work here on earth yesterday and left to take care of the flocks and herds in a better place. I'm not sure exactly how we'll manage without her, but for now we'll rely on her children and grandchildren to help us see the sunshine after the rain.

But most of all she is our very best friend, and a HUGE presence in our lives that will be sorely missed (the house feels so empty without her here filling it up with her "Elsaness"). Elsa taught us so much about love, laughter, loyalty, humor, integrity, devotion, dedication, honor, work ethic, and so much more. She was always unflappable, always ready to get the job done with a big smile on her face and a bounce in her step regardless of how hard or trivial it might have seemed, and always an wonderful example of what a Rottweiler should be.

We'll miss you so much Boo-dog--you left huge pawprints on our hearts.

Looking at her credentials - WOW! Elsa has certainly made a contribution to the Rottie world. I am so sorry for her loss. She has lived a marvelous, full life and has left the world a much better place for all Rotties. Fly with the angels at the bridge for now.

Becky and Ivan...My heart breaks for you with the loss of such an amazing girl. Her credentials speak for themselves...you have created a wonderful path for us to follow. Thank you Elsa for giving of yourself such positive energy that we can follow in your fantastic footsteps. I know that Elsa will be watching over you as your "rottie angel". She now has wings of gold to fly as the bridge contingent bowed in her presence. She will forever live in your hearts. I know my Sasha met her and welcomed such a lovely example of the rottie breed. Thank you for sharing her with us... I hope time will help your heart to heal and allow you the blessed good memories you shared with Elsa.
