Becky, My deepest sympathies. When you work your dog, you bond with them on an entirely different level. Seeing all that you and Elsa have done together shows how strong that bond was. Hugs to you, hugs to your family. Remember how good she was, remember all that she taught you, remember what she gave you.

I am very sorry for your loss, her accomplishments are amazing and show the wonderful bond you had. She's always with you as your Angel, she was loved in this life and the next. Godspeed Elsa. Be sure to send me a rottie angel pup that I can only hope will be 1/4 of the dog you were.

Side note: Does HC in front of her name mean Herding Champion?

I remember reading a previous post with title abbreviations where Becky indicated HC does indicate "herding champion". She said people thought it should be CH and she had misspelled it...

She was a true champion Becky...in all ways, not just in herding. She will be missed...RIP Elsa...

i, too, am very very sorry for the loss of elsa. i wish that only the best memories will remain, and in time you will think of elsa with a happy smile.

Since I'm not sure where Becky it at with replying, I'll answer. Yes, that's exactly what it means. Elsa was one of only a few Rottweiler HC's.
