Lost my eight year old Rottie to a thing called degenerative myelopathy two weeks ago. Still miss him. I was able to get a Rodsden Rottie (By Luck) last Saturday. Hope he's all the first one was.

Re: Samson

I've cared for a few boxers and a GSD with DM. What a horrid disease. MY sympaties go out to you, and bless you for letting your boy go, allowing him to be free once again.

Re: Samson

Thanks to all. You have no idea what a sight it is to see that noble animal dragging himself with his front legs. I had to do it for him.

Re: Samson

I am very sorry for your loss. I have a 12.5yr old rotweiler male with DM. HE has been living with it for several years. I hope he has a few more years left in him yet.

Re: Samson

I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave your friend the gift of dignity.

Train this new one in memory of Samson and surely he'll make you proud.
