Thumbs up I lost my KYHIA today..

Hi i'm new to this thread and posted in the new member intro as i still have my beloved Chevy big dog (as in chevy big block motor)He is 11 and still going strong but as for my beloved Kyhiagirl she passed away during the night due to a heart attack.she was 10yo.She is up there playing with my beloved bull terrior Brandy who died at 17. I was only 16 when i lost her.

Kyhia was the best female rottie i could have own she was so gentle with the kids and so protective of them, she would sit below my son in his pram when i bought him home and not let anyone touch him other than me, dad, or my little sister. She would try and sit on lap and be nursed like whaen she was a puppy, but having a 70kg rottie on my lap was a bit heavy. she was the kind of dog who would befriend stray dogs no matter how energetic they were. She would even come up to you and cuddle up with her paws around waist, it was her way of saying i love you. She was the kind of dog who would let you know when someone was around. She was really just a big bear. Everyone thought she was a cross breed because she so gentle and had a darker tan and longer nose compared to my Chevy but she was a pure rottie and we loved her.

She was the best friend and companion i could ever have had and she would even comfort me when i was down. She hada this way of knowing when i was upset she would not leave my side. She would nudge her nose at you and and sit that nose on your lap and look at you as if to say everythings alright and you will be fine.

I am so going to miss her.She was my mate.

Re: I lost my KYHIA today..

I am so sorry and I feel your pain. I am going through the same pain right now. I lost my beloved girl 4 days ago.

Kyhia was a wonderful and devoted companion to you and she will live in your heart forever.

Your Kyhia and my girl Chance will meet at the bridge along with so many of our beloved dogs. They no longer have pain, they are free and happy. Our dogs know how much they were loved and they gave us so much in return. We were blessed to be able to have these wonderful dogs to share our lives.
You are in my thoughts.
Godspeed Kyhia.

Such a wonderful rottie she was. A brief description I'm sure leaves out alot...but not the fact you loved her, and she you. Fly in heavens above...watch over your family...rest in peace now...Sorry for your loss...Tina

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I pray that the good memories of her will help drive away the pain of her loss.
Rest easy, good Hyhia, and play hard with all your new friends at the bridge.

Re: I lost my KYHIA today..

I am so sorry for your loss. Kyhia is running free as she frolicks at the bridge. She was met by so many beloved rotties that have preceded her...Sasha was there to meet her and help show her around. You were both so very blessed to have spent 10 years together...cherish the precious memories that you created and let time help your heart to heal. Remember...she will forever be your rottie angel as she flies on her wings of gold. She will always hold a very special place in your heart. Fly high sweet Kyhia...and when you see Sasha tell her we love her. Godspeed Kyhia...your family misses you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers....
