Hi,

Just read of your recent loss of Beau. My heart certainly goes out to you. We just lost our Sabu on 06/10/06. The first two weeks, following our loss, I was an emotional wreck and didn't think I would ever get over losing my baby.

However, I finally feel a little sense of peace, realizing I could not have my Sabu forever and that it was his time to go. I still miss him terribly and still cry when I think of him. Things do get a little better with each passing day, though....

The people who come to this site are wonderful! Let their kind thoughts and prayers comfort you, the way they did me. I just found this site a day or two after losing Sabu, and it was a huge relief. Everyone here knew the right thing to say and you can tell the messages are definitely heartfelt.

Focus on your happy thoughts and memories of Beau and the loss will get a little easier all the time. Meantime, my thoughts are with you.

Well just wanted to report to everyone the healing is going better. Hubby came home from the slope and took Beau's run down and that was hard but we decided to use his house for storage of things in the winter for now. We were both crying our eyes out but did it. Will be going to pick out an urn today a local gentleman makes them and woodcarves a picture and DOB and DOD on the box he does a wonderful job so going to pick one of those out today I think. I am ready.

I feel for all of your losses it is a hard thing to bear but I am so thankful for all of your warm words and thoughts that has helped. To all of you who have lost a loved friend recently and in the past too my heart felt hugs and wishes to you. I will try and post a picture when I get the box back but not good at doing that.

I am off to read some other posts and see if I can give any good words as you have all done. Thank you again melissa
