Our Demi Girl is gone

Taj's Alluring Demi von Zaber CGC,JHD,PT,HS passed over the Bridge June 12in the arms of her family. She would have been 13 June 21st.
She was the 1st High in Trial Herding rottweiler at a Natl. Specialty in Bremerton, WA. She was our first rottweiler and took her Kevin for many a heart stopping performance. She was the subject of a story written by Kevin Lost & Refound, TRQ, 4th quarter, 1999, where even though she was an untrained tracking dog actually found a lost dog. For the last three years she suffered a prolapsed disc and partial paralysis from Spondylosis, lost her hearing, had 2 cancerous mammary tumors removed. The last month we found out she had a tumor in her humerous and lungs and OA of both shoulders causing a limp. We were going to put her down then but her spirit kept shinning and we were allowed to have another month with her.
Her rear legs gave out last Monday and she severly hurt her back again. This time she coud not come back.She was in a lot of pain. We had to let her go.
She is now with her buddies Dylan and Rio ,no more pain, running after those sheep.
She was an extraordinary rotweiler and we miss her.This was especially hard for me to let her go because I have a very aggressive case of Inflammatory Breast Cancer, the most deadly breast cancer there is. She helped me keep going. I miss her terribly!

By letting her go, you demonstrated one of the greatest acts of selflessness there can be. The decision is sooo hard but when it is done you do know how right it was. That knowledge doe not keep the tears away though.
