Baby has passed

I am sorry, just needed to get this out.

Baby, my 6 year old Rott had to be put down yesterday, May 9th

I will miss her so terribly.

She was the shy one of her litter but what a wonderful Rott she was. So lady like she was.

She had a hard life though, hip dysplasia slowed her down when she was a year old but she was such a trooper. Never once did she ever fail me and Lord knows I will miss her greetings when I get off of work and come home.

But unfortunately, the last few weeks of her life was hard on her and sad to say because of her medical issues being so very, very hard on her, I could not bear to see her suffer any more.

She went to sleep so peacefully resting her head in my lap.

I can only look forward to seeing her again in the future.

Baby, I will miss you so very much!

I am so so sorry for your loss. I never like reading these it always brings tears to my eyes. I dread the day I will have to deal with it. But it sounds like she was a trooper and to know that she is now pain free and happy has to put a smile on your face. Hang in there!!

Re: Baby has passed

My heart goes out to you, Our family just recenetly lost our Duchess early Easter morning. They are a WONDERFUL gift from GOD. We just got another Rotty, Sir Kyzer Von Kodiak, he will never replace only fill a void and make a new place in our family. I know we thank god for the love Duchess brought to us every day.

Re: Baby has passed

I am so very sorry for your loss. You gave Baby a wonderful gift...one of unconditional love...you allowed her the dignity to cross to the bridge. A hard decision, she will be forever grateful to you. Remember that she is running pain free now. Baby watch over your family as they sorely miss you and fly on your wings of gold. You deserve them.

Re: Baby has passed

I am sorry for your loss. Our dearly loved and treasured Rottie companions don't live long enough. It seems they just get themselves a place in our hearts and then they leave us. Where does the time go?
