What you did was very brave. You gave her the ultimate peace in sending her to the Bridge. I am so sorry for your loss.

On the wings of angels, Princess, you join so many new friends who have gone before you. I am so sorry for the loss and pain you feel right now. You did right by your girl. I think that howl was her triumphant good-bye to you, letting you know she had crossed over to a world more beautiful than you can imagine; but one you will see when you are together again.

Re: My Princess is pain free..

I am so very sorry for your loss. You gave Princess the greatest gift of all...your unconditional love as she crossed the bridge. You gave her the dignity that she deserved. It is one of the hardest decisions we have to make as we share our lives with rotties. Princess is now your guardian angel and she will watch over you. Fly on your wings of gold sweet girl...you have many friends to meet you at the bridge. Say hello to Sasha (she went to the bridge 02/06).

So sorry for your heartache. You did all you could and she is now pain free.

May she meet with my Princess & Bandit who also reside at the Bridge.

It's so touching when, as ill as they are, they still want to be the way you knew them for all those years. I'm sorry for the loss of your lovely girl.
