Re: Farewell one more :( Remembering Bandit

Your post has made me cry. It's amazing how these little black and tan friends hold onto our hearts. Thank you for sharing your life with Bandit, and thanks for sharing his story with us.

Re: Farewell one more :( Remembering Bandit

As I just now read your post, the symptoms you described with your Bandit reminded me of when I lost my first Rottie, Bullwinkle. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Having just had to let another one of mine cross over last Friday, I understand the grief you've experienced. I at least take heart in knowing that Bullwinkle and Ginger, as well as the other Rottie angels mentioned here at this forum, were waiting to guide Duncan across the bridge and he's at peace now. Rest assured they were all there to greet your Bandit too.
God bless and keep you family and Godspeed Bandit.

Re: Farewell one more :( Remembering Bandit

Reading everyone's understanding and kind thoughts makes me realize just how much ALL of these animals touch our hearts with such deepness and meaning to our lives. I believed that I wouldn't ever be able to replenish my home with more 4 legged friends, because how could any stand up even close to the 3 that I was fortunate enough to have, but I see that differently now... they really are ALL just that special!

Thank you again, your comments make me remember Bandit and Princess, and all our past friends, with both a tear in my eye and a smile on my face.
