My Boy, Samson

To all our friends,

Last Saturday, we had to say our final good bye to our dog Samson. He will be sorely missed and leaves a large hole in our lives. We wish we had found this forum earlier to apply the combined wisdom toward raising him, but now we'll use it to share his memory. We created a small web page as a memorial and we hope you take a minute to see some pictures of his final days. You can click on the [sign my guest book] link and leave a message if you like.

Last night, we picked up Sam's ashes. Although we never stopped thinking about him, the whole flood of emotions started again. It's so nice to have a place to share with people who have similar experiences. We really wanted to thank everyone for their comments and sharing their thoughts.

As tears roll down my face, my heart is breaking for you with the loss of Samson. He reminds me so much of my boy, also named Samson, who will be 10 on April 15th. He will be met at the bridge by so many who have recently passed, including Sasha. The website you created is such a fine tribute to such a fine rottie. Thank you for sharing him with us at such a difficult time in your lives. I will keep both of you in my daily thoughts and prayers and hope that time will help to heal the emptiness you are feeling today. You will start to remember the good things and perhaps open your hearts one day to another that needs your love. Godspeed Samson as you fly on your wings of gold! My deepest condolences for your loss, I know your pain as I lost my best pal who's name was also Samson (Sammie) he was almost 12 years old, and the best rottie i've ever known, he had to be put to sleep Sunday the 28. I'll keep your Sammie and mine in my prayers..
