rest in peace roxy

we had to put down our 7 year old rottie female Roxy yesterday. her cancer had spread to her spine and caused her to lose control of her hind legs. She was in alot of pain. She also started to develop bleeding in her good eye and would soon go blind in that eye as well so we decided not to have her go through anymore pain and suffering.

it was a tough day this morning waking up and not having her but i feel her presence with me all the time.. just give your dogs lots of hugs and kisses b/c you never know what will happen. Roxy was diagnosed with cancer approximately 2 weeks ago yesterday and unfortunately, the cancer got the best of her.

I am so very sorry to hear about your dear sweet Roxy. She will be in great company at the bridge. I too understand the pain you are enduring as I lost my baby girl Sasha to Lymphoma on Friday also. Please know that your Roxy is flying with the angels and she will always be watching over you. This is the comfort and solace that I try to keep in my heart to help heal the hole that her loss has created. I will keep you in my daily thoughts and prayers as you endure this loss.

I just want to thank all of you that replied with your kind words and sympathy during this hard time that we're going through. I know Roxy has made alot of friends since crossing the bridge on Friday (2/3/06). I know in my heart she's in a better place with no pain.
