One year later

My dear rott friends. . . it has been one year since Duce crossed over the bridge. The tears are still there, my thoughts often drift toward him, esp, when I think what life would be like with Duce and Olivia. I miss him. He taught us so much.

Duce, my sweet puppers, I love you and miss you so much. I still find your hair in odd places. I miss your butt wiggle, your soft velvet ears, and "frito" paws. . . well maybe not them .

Thanks rottie friends for all the advice, the support, and prayers.

Jo...I've missed you around here. I can't believe it's already been a year. I've sure Duce is watching over you. These anniversaries are the hardest

Re: One year later

I was just looking at Cindy's last pictures of Jake and then I come to this.....and then I start thinking of Perle.....

Geez, does the crying ever end? Is there ever a time when it stops being able to hit you as hard as the day they left? I guess that's what love is, huh.

Re: One year later

My friends.......our loved dogs will always be with us in our hearts.....
Remember the love they gave
The love we took
The love we shared
Forever it will never go away

FOR ALL OF US WHO HAVE LOST THE BEST FRIENDS WE EVER HAD.....

JUST REMEMBER THE WONDERFUL TIMES SHARED

Re: One year later

I remember the wonderful times shared, but the tears flow nonetheless.
May Duce live on in your love....

Re: One year later

"I knew love. I had a dog."

That really sums it up, doesn't it? I can't believe a year has flown by...your sweet dog will be forever in your heart.

We have missed you. Hope you and your family are well. The loss never leaves - we just learn to deal with it.
