Nibbles my house rabbit

i hope it's ok if I talk about my house rabbit. He died yesterday peacefully in his sleep. He was 8 years old. My rotti/lab mix will miss his friend dearly. Diesel use to love to lick Nibbles face and the poor rabbit would get soaked and grunt at the dog. They were great friends and enjoyed eating treats together especially carrotts although I don't think the dog liked them very much but figured if the rabbit was going to have one that he wanted one too. Both Diesel and I will miss Nibbles dearly.

I understand you. When I was 13 years old, I used to have a female rabbit, and she died suddenly, before she was 1 year old.
Losing a pet is always difficult, no matter its species.

I'm sorry to hear about Nibbles. No matter what type of creature they are, they fill a spot in our life.

It sure is OK with me for you to post the passing of your beloved rabbit. Sorry to hear of your loss. I love animals of all kinds. I currently have one domestic and two wild cotton tails rabbits(rescued). And, I know your feeling of loss - there is that empty space feeling! :(

I sure wish you were closer. Buying food for the pups last night the man at the pet shop said someone found a rabbit in a box, set out with the trash!!!! He is giving it away free to a good home. He's a Rex and looks like a Dalmation! White with black freckles. Is there anway to get him to you?!?
