Gumpy was put sleep yesterday

all the blood transfusions and stereoids didn't help, his body couldn't produce any red blood cells. He was only 4 years old and such a sweet dog. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers, I will print and pass em on to my friends.

I am so sorry to hear that Gumpy did not survive his illness. My Freddy (Ridgeback) was put to sleep on Monday morning due to his illness, too. I would like to think that Gumpy and Freddy met at the Rainbow Bridge.

O No Peter, I'm so sorry. I just thought he'd be o.k. I can't believe it, only 4 years old. Please give my condolences to the family, I certainly know their pain. I'm so terribly sorry for this family. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Please tell Gumpy's people how sorry we are. I lost my Rottie, Ruby, when she was 4. It's hard to lose them and especially if they are still somewhat young.

This is so sad my friend,

I am sure that your Gumpy now is running, playing on the green, green grass of home - in the promised land for all our best friends.

The hardest to bear is that we mistresses and masters are not allowed into this land as long as we are staying here on earth.

I know in my heart though that "he who own this land" is taking good care of your Gumpy until you will some day meet again.

If you were here I would give you a comforting hug - no words are enough when LIFE strucks you with event like this.
