Sambuca went 1st

We had 2 rotties ,Sambuca(11) and Kahlua(9).Kahlua was diganosed with Bone Canser last month. The left rear leg is blowing up so big when 2 weeks ago Sambuca jumped off the bed at 2am. and yelped we went to see and She could not pickup or move Her back end.Took Her to the vet and all they test looked Ok so they put Her on steriods and she got better in a week and was back to normal.Two days later She kept throwing up!Gave Her bland food and couldn't keep it down and then Her legs start giving out.Took Her to the Vet and Her Pancreas went bad and all Her organs were shutting down.So we put Her to sleep The vet said I would of done the same thing if she was mine.I can't believe She's gone and will be doing it soon with Kahlua!It's just not fare!!I miss Her SO MUCH!I can't breath it hurts so much!It's so quite without Her!My wife always says "God doesn't give you more then you can take".But this time I don't know!WHY just WHY???We got 2 to have one to make it easy when one dies not for both to go so near each other!I just don't care what happends to me!Just let me be with them!!!It's just not fare!

Oh Noooo!! I am sooo sorry to hear your news.You are right...it isn't fair at all. Life has just dealt you a terribly hard blow and I am sorry for that.

I am sooo sorry! Please hang in there. This has to be so rough . Remember that you still have your other friend who needs you more than ever. You did the right thing but it hurts soo much. Take care of yourself and give as much love as you can to your Kahlua.

I am so sorry about your boy, Sambuca. I don't think 20 years would be enough for most of us. We are all here for you to talk, cry, rant as most of us have experienced what you are going through. RIP Sambuca and give Kahlua a hug from us.

I am so sorry for your loss. Do know that both of your dogs love you and trust that you will do the right thing by them. Even when that means deciding to say good-bye. I know the pain you feel right now is immense but the other members are right, you have to hang in there and give your second girl some more good days. You'll make it through this.

I'm going crazy without Her.I hear Her chain at night,I walked towards my truck today and thought She was sitting in the divers seat.I'm ussally a nice person,but I don't talk to people now,I don't go out of my way to help anybody.I just don't care!I've had many dogs and had to put them to sleep,but none like this and to have enougher one going soon.Usllay you have two,so you have one stay around for awhile.And this one Kahlua we rescued,She was beatten up and running the streets for a while.Took Her back from where we rescued Her and they said you could probley win shows with Her.She kisses on our leg out of Her own free will( like thanking us for saving Her).It's not fare for Her to die with cancer and the people that abused Her,will probley live a long healthy life.IT'S JUST NOT FARE!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Hang in there for kahula. I know the pain is intense. A few years back Both my parents died 2 months apart a month after they were gone a neighbor was smoking in bed and our rottie Bear lost her life saving us. As our house was burning to the ground me and a firfighter tried to revive her but she had swallowed too much smoke. God Doesn't give us more than we can handle even though it seems that way he picks special people to handle his special friends and obviously your one. Take comfort in knowing you gave them the best care and they are not alone. One day you'll beable to open your heart again to another in need of companionship. It took us 2 years but we adopted another in our girls name. God Bless you and Keep you strong. I have you and kahlua in my prayers
