It is with a heavy heart that I type this post...Reba died this past Sunday at our home. She was diagnosed with lymphoma in Dec.

She was doing so well until Saturday. She took a short walk. Shortly after, she became ill and rather quiet. She spent some time out in the yard under the picnic table and one of the big pine trees. She would not eat anything only drink a bit of water. She had a restless night.

On Sunday she found a favorite spot in our family room. My husband and I talked of talking her into the emergency vet. I looked over and she appeared to be asleep but was slighlty twitching as if in a dream. The movements continued for almost two minutes. She was having a siezure. I called the vet and Reba was gone....

This is the first time since 1988 that our home has been without a dog. I swear it seems like a tomb. I miss her so...

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our first Rott - Snickers to lymphoma last June after a brief and unexpected illness. Not a day goes by I don't think for her. Our house now has a new rescue - Paradise, she will never replace Snicks but we love her just the same. She has a lot of the same traits Snicks had.

I'm sure Reba was greeted at the bridge by many and will fit right in. Godspeed to Reba. She can now have pain free days. Hang in there things do get better with time.

I am very sorry for your loss. They take up such a huge place in our lives that we feel so empty when they are gone. But she will always be with you in your heart. Godspeed Reba.

I am so sorry. Seems like she will have a lot of pals at the Rainbow Bridge. We seem to have quite a few of our friend crossing over....So sad! A hug for you, and a gritch for your girl.

Ohhh Joanne, my heart breaks for you, I'm so so sorry . I know the feeling of emptiness too but now have joy in our home again. You'll be in my prayers and thought of in a very special way. Please know how very sorry I am.

There have been so many of our dear friends crossing over lately...I am very sorry you have lost Reba...she knew it was time and chose her favourite spot, and now she's frolicking with her new pals at the bridge....Bye, Reba...
