Jo and Nathan,

I'm so sorry to hear about Duce. Know that you did the right thing, even though it is not an easy thing. Even when the decision is blantantly obvious (i.e. the end of life with cancer), the event itself is no easier. These guys really get into your heart.

When your next dog comes along, Duce will guide you in training the new one, and you'll have plenty of fond memories to relive in special ways.

I'm so sorry things didn't work out with Duce. I know how hard you both tried and it's clearly evident how loved Duce was. He's out of pain now and free from his demons to run and play and someday meet up with you and Nathan again. My heart breaks for your pain........ I truly believe you did the right thing by setting him free......
