Thank you all for your responses! I knew evryone here could understand. People say "it was just a dog" I feel so very sorry that those people never experience the LOVE that truly makes them FAMILY! I would go through this horrific pain a thousand times for him. I thank you all for your prayers and your thoughts, they are most comforting. I am so thankful that there is a place like this to come to and all of you are so special. I can't thank you guys enough for your support!

Hey that's what we're here for. As far as the comment "it's just a dog", they don't know the unconditional love a animal truly gives and yes I feel sorry for them too:( , it's their loss. As I said, I know your pain and each time I've gone through it I would tell my husband I can't do it ever again but I do bc of that unconditional love and the joy of having the company of a dog.
