| Follow up to "Jodie" I posted a while ago about the loss of my Mum's dog Jodie. Our Mum had made us swear not to "buy" her another dog because nobody could replace Jodie. She was, as we all were devastated over her death as she was such a lovely character. Thanks to those who sent their kind thoughts our way. :) Just thought I would pass on the news that 3 days after losing Jodie a new dog came into our Mum's life - Meg. Meg was going to be PTS because she had nipped at a child, she is a 4 yo Lhasa Apso who was kept in a house with 3 children under 3, they pulled her about, dressed her up and made her a nervous wreck, one day it all became too much and she went to nip the eldest child. My sister rescued her and brought her round to my Mum's, knowing full well once mum had heard the tale of woe she wouldn't hesitate. Sure enough Meg has a new happy and most of all peaceful home. She is settling in very well, having some training done as she hadn't had any previously. And is a complete softy. Mum though still very sad and missing Jodie, has a new friend to help her through. Sometimes in our hour of need an angel looks down on us. |

| Indeed they do MMGY. Our thoughts in the UK go out to all of our friends across the "pond" today. |
