Michele,

I am still thinking about you and Moe and the loss you feel. I did try to call you twice, then Iwrote you a long PM last Thursday, but you mailbox was full, and then the Forums went down. Please contact me whenever you feel like it. Take care.

Thank you all SO MUCH for your kind words and sympathy. It's slowly feeling a little more "back to normal" around here. I still tear up every now and then, but I know that Niko needs his Mom too, so I'm trying to be there for him. He has gone through a mourning period too, and when I'm sad....he's sad. So, I've had to stop being too torn up around him....it's too hard on him. As you know Judy they really do pick up on our emotions....so we're trying to just remember the happy times. I know Moe is looking down on us and having a great time playing with all those other great rotties that have gone before him.
He was definitely a "once in a lifetime" dog, we'll never forget him no matter how many rotties we own.
We love you Moe....

:o Michelle, sorry I'm late on this, I am so sorry to hear about Moe, he was a beautiful boy...I too remember his picture you posted not too long ago, such a sweet old fellow. What a special tribute, for him, his own spot and tree. He'll always be with you, just remember all the good times, and you'll be smiling in no time.

Many hugs to you and your family, and your furbabies too, I know they are missing Moe too, take care. Lori

I'm sorry this is late.

I wanted to say I'm terribly sorry for your loss of Moe. I know you will cherish the time you had with him. Saying goodbye is so difficult, and you will be in my thoughts.

Michelle,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your best friend. He was lucky to have lived his last days on the farm (and I bet it's a lot like where he's waiting for you now).

I will share a special hug w/ my rotten ones in memory of Moe.

Laurie

Sorry to hear about your dog, Moe.
I would say, though, that Moe had a very happy and fulfilling life; one that had much love in it, and one in which he left many warm and loving memories with those people for whom he helped and assisted. He must have been quite a dog. He lived 11 years, which is good for a Rottweiler, and I know he is in a place now where he is resting contently and still watching over you. I lost my Rottweiler at age 7 this past Spring, and wish she could have lived to be 11, but I know it does'nt matter at what age they leave us, it is always much too soon, and it always leaves a void.

Moe, would you say hi to Susie for me, and tell her I think about her all the time.

sorry to hear

I'm sorry I'm so late to the thread. I rarely come here.

I'm so sorry to hear the news about Moe- he was such a dignified, wonderful guy. He was lucky to have you, and you were lucky to have him. Take care.
