say goodbye to an old friend

Today- March 10, 03 we said goodbye to Apollo. (Fronter Crown Prince Apollo) who was 10 years and 3 months old

Apollo was the brother of Molly and the sire of our E litter and my brothers buddy dog

Apollo had a grapefruit sized mass in his abdomen that was affecting circulation and hind limb movement. Because of his age and the degree of circulation impairment (today his gums were white with no capillary refill and he had hind limb edema as well) he was not considered a surgical candidate

Apollo stopped eating on friday and his condition took a turn for the worse so a decision was made over the weekend

Please light a candle to help speed his passage

Diane,
So sorry to hear about Apollo, I'm sure at this point, he and Darla are playing with each other, having a good time.

It's never easy for any of us to let them go, our condolences to you and your family.

Dear Diane,

Please accept my heartfelt thoughts for what you are feeling now. From your description, you had to let Apollo go when you did. I will light a candle for him tonight. Take care.

My condolences on your loss...it is so hard to lose an old friend, even though you know they're waiting for you at the bridge.
