Well, I used to share a house with Gary and John - we each had our GSD's - mine was UBU - she came to live in the house about 6 months after Rocky and Duffy (John's GSD who passed three years ago) and was very close to them - when I moved out three years ago - I left UBU behind with her friends Rocky and Gary - Rocky passed away last March - I got the call I dreaded last Monday. - UBU (12.5 years old) has systemic cancer - she was given medicine and sent home to be spoiled - she felt better for a few days - Gary had fed her steak and chicken every night since he got the news - this morning - she had to be helped up two steps and Gary said she gave him that look like "I am tired and I can't go on anymore - I want to go find Rocky and Duffy now" - So this afternoon Ubu goes to the bridge to meet up with Rocky and Duffy - and to wait for the people who loved her. Please say a kind word and keep us in your thoughts as she makes her way to a peaceful and painfree place - thank you:( - Lisa

I am so sorry for your loss Lisa.:( 12.5 years is a great long life. Rest in peace, Ubu. Go play with the rest of our friends that are at the bridge and watch over your loved ones.

It is never a long enough time - but I know she is playing with her friends at the bridge - they have each other to wait with - that is the only comfort for now - thanks again - Lisa
