And we've lost three (one each year for the last three years) at 14, 12 and 11. They are constantly in our thoughts, especially as I weed and water the flowers that are on their gravesites in our pines. I whelped, reared and shared my life with all of them, that is a long time to share (as many of you know).

Thanks for taking the moment.....what a special time to remember them.

So many that have gone. Many of us have followed their journey to the bridge through the posts here and weeped for them and their owners when they departed. There are no words that can comfort or heal - only time will fill the space with mundane tasks to pull our minds from our loss. Time does not heal - it just makes us think of other things for awhile. When you cry, think of what life would have been without them. It is worth the pain, terrible to bear though it may be. My sympathy to all of you - thank you for sharing your memories and allowing us to give you some small measure of comfort.
