A beloved baby has joined.

I'm sorry my sweet little thing, that I couldnt do more.

BECC, You did the best thing you could for your pup. I just went back and read your posts in the Behavior files. I too have had to let two dogs be released from their demons. It is not an easy choice, but the best choice for you and your pup. He is now free of the demons that took over his life. You set him free and that is more than some people in other cultures would do. If not for your compassion he could have ended up living a life of anger and pain, being beat into submission or on the end of a chain being a guard dog. You gave him the gift of being free.
Please accept my condolences on your loss.

I am very sorry for the grief and heartache you must be feeling. You had to make an awful decision and you did it with love and compassion. I wish you well and hope that you will be able to share your home and heart with another pup sometime in the future.

Becc, I am so sorry for your loss. It was so obvious how much you loved your puppy. My Sampson became sick when he was 5 years old. We were able to keep him well with medication, but after a few months he started showing behaviour changes and some signs of aggression. As much as we loved him, we couldn't take any chances and had to let him go. I know what an agonizing decision that is to make, but you did the only thing you could. He is happy now and playing with all of our babies at the bridge. Again, I am so sorry.

Lisa
