Marianne,

I am so sorry to hear about beautiful Lady Lilly. She put up a good fight. I wish I could give you a hug. I can truly feel your grief and pain and wish I could offer a hug or some consoling words. She is free of pain and running over the bridge.

What very sad news. I know she and you tried so hard to hang on and make it through this. I am so sorry it just wasn't to be after such a promising beginning and all your hopes. You have my sympathy. I know it is always so hard and never gets any easier when you lose a beloved companion.

I was really hoping not to see this. My heart is heavy for you right now, but I'm so glad Lilly got to be in your arms and you were able to give her that special moment.

She fought the good fight. Now she is renewed and waiting patiently at the bridge, with all the others that have gone before her. Unfortunately there is never enough time........

Oh Marianne I'm so sorry to hear this news. I was praying for you and Lilly. It was just not to be. Be strong dear friend, shed those tears as they are healthy. Lilly is in peace now and will be waiting for you at the Bridge. Again, I'm so sorry. It never is easy, but with time the pain will grow into happy, fond memories.

So sorry to say this Marianne,but you are right It just wasn't meant to be,just as humans go with prayers and vigil,it is just their time and nothing can change that,but it wasn't done to hurt you or make you sad it was for Lilly as God knew what layed ahead for her,and didn't want her to go through it,God is so good that he only does good things,even if we don't think so...But as I have mentioned before,I feel my Big Leah's presence,and you will too feel lilly's they don't just leave us that way,as that isn't good and only good can be done...you will be brave for those grandchildren and just see what the future brings,Big hugs

Marianne, I am so very sorry for your loss. As Lilly is at rest and at peace playing on the other side of the bridge, my thoughts and prayers go to you, and the painful stirring in your heart. I hope that your grandchildren will replace those sad eyes with ones of joy, if even for just Christmas Day. Once again, so sorry for your loss and big hugs sent your way.:(

Marianne, I am so very sorry to hear about Lilly. I was praying I would not come to the forum & find this post. You gave her a wonderful life while she was with you, she knew she was loved. Your in my thoughts & prayers at this very difficult time. Brandy
