Re: How to train my dog on attack command?

Attacking on command is part of a very strict training regime. I suggest you start to research 'personal protection' and 'schutzhund' training clubs. This is not something that a normal pet owner can teach by himself. Nor is it recommended for novice owners.

Re: How to train my dog on attack command?

it takes many years of dedication and constant training to get a dog trained for PP or schutzhund. my SCH friends spend at least 20 hours a week training for years to get the basic SCH titles on their dogs. if you want to train SCH get into a clud in your area dn learn from well qualified people.

please do not try and do this yourself you will only be creating a terribly dangerous dog that might snap and kill someone. you'll just give BSL people another reason to raise hell.

Keep in mind that the OP is in Pakistan.... I wonder what resources like Schutzhund clubs are available for him there. Not sure whether Breed Specific Legislation is an issue there, either, but for readers here in this country who may be in a similar situation, this is good advice.

Re: How to train my dog on attack command?

Find yourself a book called " MANSTOPPER " by Joel McManis and read it. There is a LOT of info on testing temperament, training, obedience, liability, and a bunch of other stuff. There are probably 100 pictures in the book also. Pay attention ! The very first page of the book tells you to keep the book away from children. If a child gets the book and tries to do some of the stuff in the book, you will end up with a dead child. Training a dog to attack a human is serious stuff and I hope you treat it as such.

Re: How to train my dog on attack command?

you should check out the RAW diet sub forum in nutrition. RAW is probably your best choice of diet for health and muscle tone.

I just went on Amazon. com and searched for schutzhund and found a lot of books, but I don't do SCH so I can't tell you if any of the books are any good. they will ship to pakistan.
