vet appointment

Hi all! I took Honda for his checkup at the vet and his booster for his distemper.he did really well and was very calm,even with the other dogs.he stepped on the scale and for a ten week old puppy he weighed in at sixteen pounds!I asked the vet if that was ok,you know was he on track,too heavy for his frame ect.she said he is well proportioned and is doing great,And to expect him to just be a big boy(which i knew already).Does his size sound alright with you all?I was quite proud of his behaviour while at the vet as well because we have to drive over a half hour to get there and he was still well behaved.

He sounds right about the same size as my boy. Henry weighed 17 pounds at 10 weeks, 20 pounds at 11 weeks. We got him when he was 8 weeks old and he seems to be gaining exactly 3 pounds per week. It's kind of hard to weigh him on the scale at home.....I make my hubby get on the scale first (lord knows I am not stepping on that thing) and then I hand him the puppy to see what the weight difference is to determine his weight. We are not going to be able to keep this up for too long because Henry is getting kind of difficult to pick up
