Oh I'm such a bad dog mom!

I popped into the vet today to get a copy of his rabies shot, so we could license him. I was thinking I'd had to pay the $5 'late' fee as he was going to be 7 months old on the 12th of May. The vet tech asked how old he was now, and why we hadn't been to "Puppy Party" at the office in a few weeks. And, I said, "Oh he's 6.5 months old now, so too old." She looked at me....looked at the computer and said "Do we have his birthday wrong?" No...it was right....**I** however obviously cannot count!!! LOL He is only just almost 6 months instead of almost 7 months! OY!

I'm such a bad dog mom....forgetting my own 'kid's' age!!!! LOL

Soo.......this leads me to wonder....how big is this pup going to get.....he weighed 72.2 lbs today at the vet! OY!!! Father was 105 and mother 80, so I thought he'd not be too big......but....I must be wrong! Either that, or it's growing up under the "Big Sky" and we just grow 'em bigger up here ;)

Oh my poor puppy....I felt so sorry for him....I sewed him up a little stuffed toy, which I knew he'd rip to bits in a matter of minutes, but he loved it just the same....and hopefully that made up for my making him miss the last 4 weeks of Puppy Party!
