Icon5 Innova Pet Food

Not even sure if I can post this. I can't find anyone in my local area that sells any of the innova, evo, etc. dog food. I have found it on a web site to purchase. Petfooddirect. Has anyone else had my problem with finding food and purchased from a website? Good or bad experiences? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Innova Pet Food

I would suggest going to the Natura site, click on "where to buy", enter your zip and search for results within 30 miles. I found several stores listed on the site that report carrying Innova within 30 miles of the 3 available zip codes for Altoona.
AND
to answer your actual question - yes, when I was feeding kibble I bought form online store. If you do choose an online store check out the shipping charges for multiple bags, sometimes you can save a few bucks. Good Luck!

Re: Innova Pet Food

Thanks Brutus'smother. I know there's a few within 30 miles of here, but it's so hard to be able to get out of town to travel for even a 1/2 hour. Of course, I guess that if I knew I could get it, and get a few bags, it wouldn't be too bad. Thanks for the multiple bag idea.

Re: Innova Pet Food

Have you checked any of your local groomers? In my area there are a few grooming salons that carry the premium dog foods.....and if they don't carry them they will order them for you at no additional charge There is also a boarding kennel/training facility in my area that carries alot of the premium foods. Maybe there is something similar in your area?

Re: Innova Pet Food

I'll have to check out the groomers in my area. I've been making a bunch of phone calls the past couple days to different shops in my area. Nothing yet. But I still have a few to try. Thanks. When I find one, I'll post.

Re: Innova Pet Food

If you do end up ordering it yourself, don't buy too many bags at once, as it does have a shelf-life..... even unopened, it will go stale after 6 months (so my breeder said).

Re: Innova Pet Food

Do you know anyone else in your immediate area who buys or would be interested in buying the premium foods? (groomers might know that too) They might be willing to pick it up for you on their trips if traveling is easier for them.

Re: Innova Pet Food

I've been thinking about ordering dog food from Care-A-Lot Pet Supply. I had a great experience with them getting a replacement SUV crate rush delivered for Samson. His other one was damaged in a car accident. From their catalog, their dog food seems to cost less than PetFoodDirect or JB Wholesale. Their shipping charges were reasonable for the crate, but then I live in their state.
