Love that Zooey is happy with her crate.

Zooey is usually glued to my side or feet. If I'm moving around when she wants to sleep, she tends to start chewing on inappropriate things or doing other things she's not supposed to so I wind up crating her with toys so that she has fewer options. Tonight, for the first time, I was dusting in the living room and, instead of being pesky, Zooey went into her crate and is now fast asleep.

Awww. My baby is growing up . . .

I love it when a dog loves his crate. It is their safe little haven in there.

How old is your Zooey now?

We've had our foster for 15 months. Sailor is waaay past needing to be crated as his house manners are impeccable, but we still have his crate set up in our bedroom. He puts himself into his crate for naps during the day and that's where he sleeps at night. If I could take the door off, I would.

Max's crate is a godsend. We wouldn't be without it. It's his own little safe haven, plus peace of mind for his mommy and daddy, knowing he isn't getting into anything when we're not home. He does sleep in it sometimes for naps when we're home. We have an 11 year old spitz who has been crated 90% of her life. Peace of mind. Way to go Zooey.
