My puppy seems to get the hiccups after he drinks his water. Could it be that he's drinking it too fast?

Puppies get hiccups. They are growing rapidly, and it's very normal. They hiccup when they sleep, after they eat, after they play, they hiccup.

Re: Hiccups

oh yes, it is normal. All puppies hiccup, and most do it more often than not. I thought it was so cute when my puppy used to get the hiccups!

Re: Hiccups

I miss the hiccups

Max would hiccup all the time when he was little, then they slowly went away and now he hardly ever does. We also asked the vet about his hiccups and were told puppies hiccup all the time. It's so cute.

Re: Hiccups

Hi. My puppy had hiccups all the time when I first brought him home. He is about four months old now and he still gets them now and then. From what I've read this is normal for our pups. :)

Re: Hiccups

Oh I'm so glad this was on here. I had noticed my pup hiccups and it freaked me out a first! Glad to know it's normal.
