Icon5 What to feed?

Max is 21 weeks yesterday and on Iams Large Breed Puppy food, and after reading many posts here would like to change him to a better food. I've read that Innova and Canidae are good, but I cannot find them in my local pet stores. The highest food at my Superpetz is Nutro and Ulta, Ultra something like that. My Petco carries Eukunuba, which I have read that it is not recommended. They also carry Science Diet, Natural Balance, and Royal Canin. Any thoughts on these food brands. Please help. Thanks.

Re: What to feed?

Try pet food stores that are not large chain stores for the high quality foods. Petco, Petsmart, etc. do not carry the premium foods. Some farm/livestock supply stores carry the better brands too.

Try googling the name " Innova" or Canidae. It will take you to these foods websites and they have store locators on them.

It's most often pet boutique types of stores, groomers, and small privately owned pet food stores as well as feed stores that these better quality foods will be found in.

Re: What to feed?

I purchase my premium food from a local groomer, but I know that a local boarding kennel/training facility also carries alot of the premium brands if you have something like that in your area.
