| Hi everyone, thanks for all the help, now I have another question. I enrolled Matilda in puppy class, 1 day before the class they called and said they didn't have enough puppies enrolled but they would take her in the next class because she was a large breed. Well we went to class, Matilda had just turned 13 weeks and the next youngest was 9 months old all the way up to 2 years old. She had a blast meeting all the dogs but they certainly weren't puppies. I'm thinking I should just keep her in for the socialization and look for a new class in 5 weeks so I don't lose my enrollment fee. The money isn't the most important thing if you think a class with such older dogs would be harmful for her development and I may be able to find another puppy class before she is too old for the puppy classes. Any input would be greatly appreciated! |

| See if you can find another Puppy K class. Being in a class with older dogs is not going to harm her...but it may be asking a 13 week old far too much to be doing what a 2 year old dog is. A puppy class is more for socialization and the very basics. She also will not have the attention span. Keep her in this class and find a puppy class...it will not harm her to take 2 classes a week for a short while. Gina
