Heavy breathing/wet noises while sleeping.

I'm posting this in the event that someone here might know more than our vet.

We took Zooey in for snotty sneezes ten days ago, gave her her prescribed seven days of Clavamox and she seemed fine, even two days into the treatment.

Tonight, Zooey was breathing *very* heavy short breaths right after we she went to sleep. This went on for some time and there were some wet gurgling noises coming out of her as well. Called the emergency vet and was told to get her in so I did. The vet said that her lungs were clear. I've been monitoring her for most of the night and it hasn't happened again.

Anyone know what might have happened here? These were not nightmares. She could not seem to snap out of it. She would wake up, put her head down then start right back up again.
