I have a long coated boy, but adopted him as an adult, so don't know what he looked like as a puppy...I did foster a seven week old rott and her coat was shorter than yours so I'm inclined to think he might be...but those that are more puppy oriented can chime in. He is absolutely gorgeous though!!!!

bwalm; your dog is so cute, if you lived by be I would steal her from you ! But I do think she is longhaired. Nisha was pretty "fluffy" as a puppy, but nothing like your girl. Nisha's "fluff" went away, and now she has a normal coat; you may have to wait and see with your dog.

What is her name??

her name is Maddie. shes a little brat right now. showing some aggression - im correcting it using Cesar Millan's techniques.. they seem to really work. I'm trying to work on shoing her who's boss. that seems to be important right now. She knows how to sit, come and laydown. but she gets frustrated with them if I'm asking too much.. and she ends up lunging at me trying to bite. Don't know if she just wants to turn it into a game or if she's actually getting mad. She growls when I correct it and she puts up a bit of a struggle while im correcting her. but she eventually submits to me and rolls onto her back - at which point i show affection.. I hope she gets rid of this aggression. She'll do okay! This forum is very helpful.

In regards to her being long haired - at leastt everyone in this thread knows what an 8 week old long hair rottie looks like now (my above post) lol

thanks!
