how long should i walk my puppy

hi all.. this is a brillant web site i have got so much good info from it.i have got a rotti five months old little girl and i love her to bits what i need to know is how long can she be walked for i dont want to over do it but on the other hand she has so much energy she loves her walk

My rottie Baron is also five months old. As soon as I wake up I walk him at a very brisk pace for 20 minutes then let him roll around at his own pace in a park. Then I feed him, no food till we exercise. I then walk him 30-40 minutes at about 4 or 5 in the afternoon. He still has energy to run and play if something catches his attention or someone in the house is willing to play with him, and is still very alert. So I feel as if I am not overdoing it. My pooch is six months old and he can easily do an hour at a time. Mind you, this is walking, not jogging, or anything like that! lol! He can also do smaller segments of 30 minutes throughout the day. I wouldn't go longer than an hour, though.

hi there my little girl is 5 months old and i take her 2 35 min walks a day and the we have 2 15 min session daily playing in the garden throwing and catching the ball and she sumetimes entertains herself in garden but i always feed after the walks. hope this helps
