Hi everyone, I am a new Rottie owner well she is my sons dog she is beautiful and fun. My Bella is only 8.5 weeks and weighs 18 .5 pounds and her paws are almost the size of my palms is she to big for her age?? And what about feeding raw diet????? Any thoughts?

Just took my 11-week old in for her second round of shots and she was just over 20 pounds, which seems to be light given some of your other weights posted here and according to the weight chart. that would mean that she would need to gain 10 pounds this week to be "on target" to be the 30.9 that is expected by 3 months.

Hope I am feeding her enough, etc. I just go by what is says on the back on the Canidae ALS bag. she is at about 2 cups a day over 3 meals right now.

Females usually weigh less then male puppies.
It sounds like your puppy is a very good weight. You must remember that some puppies are big when they are young, and slow down...and never get the size you expect...and some are smaller then average...and end up bigger. It depends on genetics, health,etc.

Keep doing what you are doing...your female is never going to weigh as much as a male dog...and she should not.
