looks like the puppy is listed on a website, (seen on picture). So sad, I would say any ligit person would not sell a puppy on a website like this, they are puppy millers and back yard breeders, or people who just dont care who buys the dogs.
Please dont buy a puppy from a website.
There are good breeders and dog rescues, animal shelters full of rottweilers that need homes. Please read more on the forum about breeders, and puppy mill's.
Puppies that look cute turn into grown adult dogs fast. Also, its easy to buy one of those dogs, because they "Look fine" but the real problem is the medical and temperment issues that are not so easily seen.
Do a check on
WTHR - Indianapolis News and Weather - WTHR HOME about puppy mills they just did a three part news story about puppy mills in the midwest, its a real problem and the "breeder" dogs are treated so cruel.
check petfinder.com, still a website that shows you animals, still have to be careful/smart as to why and who is placing the dog, but mostly its dogs in animal shelters and rescues.
If I was your GF I would love to have the opportunity to pick my own dog, from a breeder I like, and one that was matched for the temperment that I would enjoy the most. Get her a rottie stuffed animal , and place a tag on it saying your going to help her find and pick her perfect baby.
Then while you are searching for hte perfect dog, she will have time to read up on the rotties and get a trainer lined up.
