| ideas for stuffing a kong for puppy I have Bracken who is 2 and have just gotten a lovely wee girl of 8 weeks...Bracken gets a kong stuffed with goodies, what kind of things can I stuff the puppy's kong with? Bracken also loves liver treat that I make from the recipie posted here, I read on one of the other threads that the liver can be frozen and kept indefinately, is that for liver thats cooked? and can it really be fed frozen? thanks to all of you who post so much information that I am sure has made me be a better rottie owner... | Re: ideas for stuffing a kong for puppy Peanut Butter... but just a dollop at a time. If you spread it out on the inside and freeze it actually lasts quite a while. I sometimes also mix the PB with a mashed up banana, he goes crazy for it! A little Cheez Whiz never hurt a dog either :) |

| Re: ideas for stuffing a kong for puppy I mix kibble, plain yogurt and some water to make a 'soup'. Plug the small hole in the Kong with peanut butter...pour in the 'soup' and freeze. Keeps them busy and cool on hot days. Another favorite in our house is kibble mixed with canned salmon with the 'juice'. Again plug the small hole with peanut butter scoop in the kibble and salmon and freeze. Melissa |
