Love of humans

Gabi (our 4.5 month old girl) has been attending puppy kindergarten, shopping, walking etc. in order to get her socialization skills. I don't know why (maybe I do-she is a gorgeous girl), but she attracts so many people to come and love on her. It amazes me how people react so positively to her. I wonder if it is her rottie mystique. At any rate, she just melts with these people and loves them right back. Are others experiencing this? Will this stop when she gets older? I hope not. She definitely likes people more than my other dogs did.

I have one girl who is now 6 1/2 who is such a princess that if someone doesn't come over to fawn over her, she will sit and cry, looking directly at them until they come over...she LOVES the pet store as everyone there fusses over her; when I try to get her back into the car after a visit to the petstore she refuses to get in as she doesn't want to leave! If you continue to ensure she has lots of positive socialization, she may very well continue to be a social butterfly.

Emmy will be 5 on 4/15 and she is still very much a social butterfly and absolutely LOVES it!!

We go and sit a starbucks for coffee and bring Brina(4yr) and Meeka who is also 4 1/2 mths, and they both love the attention and affection from other people, its like they cant get enough of it. I am so glad. And I might add people are so friendly toward them not like some posts i have read where people are afraid of them or think they are mean dogs.

I'm so glad to hear this . . . I just love her disposition and I wish it to continue. It is so good to have people fawn over her as I was a little nervous about other's reactions to her being a rottie (even tho I know they are so naturally sweet and loving).
