This puppy should be seen by a vet. There is something wrong with her.
It could be many things...not something that can be diagnosed over the internet.

Please do NOT let the pups go to their new homes till they are 8 weeks of age.

Re: help! my runt needs help.

Brunie's Mom is right. Get this pup all warm and cozy and take her to the vet.Only a vet can determine if there is something wrong with her spine or legs. She needs help. Did you call the vet and explain what's going on with this pup? That's the best internet advice I can give to you.

Re: help! my runt needs help.

There is something wrong with this puppy. I'm thirding the need to get her to a vet asap (she should have been seen by a vet when this was first noticed). I also hope that this puppy is still with her mother and litter as she should be.

Re: help! my runt needs help.

I have heard dogs of other breeds being 'swimmers' until 4 or 5 weeks old, but in my experience with my own litters and my friends litters, this is NOT normal behavior for Rottweiler puppies and I would have to agree with everyone, GET HER TO THE VET ASAP.

Something is very wrong with her and if she is very different from her littermates in that respect, that should be obvious.

She may have been stepped on slightly or just plain not right.

And please, make sure they all stay together until they are 8 weeks old.

Kristi

Re: help! my runt needs help.

I concur with the vet visit... there may be something wrong with her spine or legs.... missing patellas, deformities in the hips/spine, etc....
