Puppys first shots!

Well my dear little Valentine goes in for his first set of Vaccs today at 3pm. Does anyone remember thier pups first shots? Did they freak out or did they whine? I'm curious........

Mine didn't freak out, but they might've whined a little. Valentine might be a little tired tonight from the shots too.

Ralph did great, but the next day the shot site was real touchy, the following day he was fine.

Mine did'nt even act like he knew he had a shot. Now the microchip was a different story, he did squeal some then, but it was a big needle.

My Nottweiler (Husky) just got her first shots last Saturday, and she slept through half the exam, including the shots. She was also quite sleepy for the rest of the day, but bouncing around like normal by Sunday morning I remember my pug being a little whiny when she got hers, and also tired afterwards, but otherwise fine.

Gaia just got her "final" shot yesterday and just like Bodo's she didn't even noticed... Althought she instantly started scratching (at the shot 'site'...) once the needle was out but the Vet said it was normal since the shot tends to "tingle" a little bit...

Samson did the same thing. That needle is huge!

Like Bodo, our girl didn't act like she knew she got a shot. She had no soreness or anything after her first puppy shots but after her Rabies vaccination she ran a fever and was lethargic for about 24 hours. Because of that, I'm hoping to use titters for at least the Rabies from now on.

Rina didn't seem to mind at all. She just gave the vet a look like "what did you do that for?" lol

Serena got her first set and microchip at the same time. Neither even fazed her.

We had our last litter microchipped last weekend - typically the only ones to winge about it were the two boys, all the girls couldn't have cared less :)

Well he did just fine. As soon as the vet stuck him with the needle he just looked at BF wondering "what was that!!?" but then that was it! He sure was tired...he slept quietly thru the night!! and so did we
He also posed really nice for the vet too when he got his picture taken.......does anyone wanna see the pic?.....where would i post it??? never posted pics on here before!
