How Much Walking? I have 14 week old little girl "Guardian". She is great, a lot of fun, but all puppy. I excersie her to wear her out, but how much is too much. We go for 1/2 hour walks twice a day, training, and play time in between. I want to make sure that I'm not asking her to do to much to soon. Would another 30 minute walk midday be over doing it.

Re: How Much Walking? I have a 17 week old female too and if I let her, she will run around and play until the moon goes down and the sun comes up but I don't really think there is a such thing as "too much" work, walking, or play for a Rottie seeing that it is a working breed. As long as she has alot of water, stays cool, and eats properly she should be fine. Yesterday, Enza played with my girlfriends beagle for 3 hours, went swimming in the pool and ocean, and played with my 6 year old brother and other kids in the neighborhood for hours upon hours... After she eats her dinner and goes for her last walk at about 10pm she passes out cold for a solid 10-12 hrs lol

Re: How Much Walking? I think as long as u have all of her shots then take her for as long as she enjoys it! But i think with walking 2x a day for half an hour is great already :)
